Tünde Erdös book (one of them) is called: Coaching Presence: Understanding the power of the nonverbal relationship. We got to know each other roughly a year ago through LinkedIn. We met to work on an experiential learning cohort in Austria facilitated by Tünde and Claire Venetsanakou from Greece.

Some weeks ago, I had the honor to be invited on Tünde’s podcast. The topic was a unique conversation about the three-part documentary she created together with Michael Tichelmann That series runs by the title “Light & Shadow of coaching – In and Beyond Organizations.”
It was meant to be only one film – and then, they could not stop carrying on. There were so many perspectives to be reflected from the angles of the light and shadow side in the world of coaching that there was no way to stop.
Tünde brought together perspectives from a whole range of thought leaders from around our globe: each interview contribution touched on the light and shadow sides of coaching.
The inspiration was to make it obvious to the world that one film would simply not be enough.
We can now enjoy 3 documentary parts and indulge in six hours of learning, reflecting, relearning, unlearning, and trying to process the magnificent content around the challenges in our time…
In our so called “VUCA world”:
Volatility
Uncertainty
Complexity
Ambiguity
… and “BANI worlds”:
Brittle
Anxious
Non-linear
Incomprehensible
This is my second blogpost (first in Swedish, where I introduced Tünde Erdös and her brilliant work in the modern coaching field – link below), where I’ll encourage you to watch the three parts of this documentary. This social-impact-through-coaching initiative was the moment that gave birth to the whole idea of documentary production.
As serendipity has it, the initiative nicely fits in with ICF’s (International Coach Federation) global goals: putting social impact through coaching on our agenda.
